Graphic Research

Seeing as my images are going to be quite graphic i decided to look into a few graphic designers for some inspiration. This is a area that i am quite unfamiliar with so it was very interesting to research.

Jurriaan Schalken

Jurriaan Schalken is a Netherlands based freelance designer specialising in photography and typography. I came across his work in the book Freewave. The way he uses buildings upside down make the image so much more interesting, i may try this with my work.

IAAH

I came across the image below in a book called Isolated. The text below is from the designers website and i really liked how it was written so i thought i wo
uld share it.

I like the blues used in this image.

David Gleber

Again found in Isolated - Love the colours in this image - top right - (you may not be able to see them very clearly because it's a scan)

I also like the idea of using text with photographers, not sure it i will adopt this within my own work for this module but it is something i would like to do in the future.

Eduardo Bertone

Again you might not be able to tell but i really like the texture of the image below.
